something green

It's too late for this year, but next year, I want to sign up for this:
counting trees in NYC. There are several reasons: 1. I want to spend some time not thinking about school/job 2. I want to be among nature 3. want to give back to the community (dubious as it sound), but I don't want to work with human beings, they are too noisy. Just need to remember to do it, and hopefully get someone to do it with me.
