no luck with norton products?

i've had frustration caused by norton products before, so in general, i try not to use them. however, i tried to put norton antivirus on my system to test it out for my aunt. the result: after 2 days, i suddenly couldn't go online anymore. further investigation revealed that winsock registry was messed up. obviously i can't blame norton antivirus for this, for i have no first hand evidence, and i've seen other people using it without any problem. but anytime i had it on my pc, some problems came up. here's to remember to NOT TO USE NORTON'S PRODUCT. oh yeah, and the winsock test and fix.
